CALLING DEVICE PARTICULARLY FOR CALLING SERVICE PERSONNEL IN RESTAURANTS

The suggested device is based on the problem how to provide an appropriate information link between the service personnel and guests or table setting without having to perform any considerable changes to the architectural layout of the restaurant. The solution to the above mentioned problem is offered by a calling device particularly for calling service personnel in restaurants consisting of a receiver (1) and at least one transmitter (2). There are preferably several transmitters (2), the most suitable number is equal to the number of tables in a particular restaurant. The receiver (1) is built inside a chassis (11) which can be easily and without any considerable difficulties set up in the restaurant area usually reserved for service personnel, this means particularly in the area of the bar which is not shown in the picture. The receiver (1) also features a corresponding signalling device (12) which is preferably a double digit display. Each battery powered transmitter (2) features a switch or button (25) and preferably a light signalling device (26) particularly a diode.
