A method of producing a natural cytokine mixture is disclosed including the steps of immobilizing at least one mitogen in a tissue culture vessel. An isolated population of lymphocytes free of neutrophils and erythrocytes, is suspended in a serum-free media and placed in the vessel. The lymphocytes are cultured, the media removed, and characterized for the yield of cytokines.
