The enclosure for compact porous disks solves the problem of stability and mechanical resistance of porous disks. The latter enable a prompt separation and analysis of organic molecules despite being very fragile, which so far prevented their wide-spread use. The enclosure consists of a hollow cylinder-shaped body featuring a winding on the external wall (1) which holds the compact disk (9) with ring (8). The disk is located between two miniature pistons (3) featuring openings (5), windings for the attachment on the external side (6), an extension (7) necessary for the nut (2) to fit onto it when fastening, thus fixing the small piston (3) and distributors (4) of a diameter less or equal to the one of the disk, which are punched into the front wall of the miniature piston (3). The depth of the distributor bed is larger than its thickness to prevent a direct contact with the disk.
|
