The invention refers to a new pharmaceutical closed-type device-dispenser, used for the production of the sodium bicarbonate solution during hemodialysis. The production of the solution takes place inside the polypropylene made device-dispenser the shpae of which is cylindrical with conical ends. The dispenser contains a sodium bicarbonate powder of special specifications and incorporates two filters, one at each of its ends (upper and lower), the first of which filters the inflowing water allowing its dispersion inside the device-dispenser. The result is the guaranteed filtering of all undesirable substances contained in the inflowing water, the disperse of water, and the uniform dissolution of the contained sodium bicarbonate powder of special specifications. Thus, the solution which flows out of the dispenser through to the other filter, located on the opposite end, is maintained purer and within the conductivity limits during the entire hemodialysis. In addition, the special design of the dispenser provides the capability of double and two-way filtering while the device can hold up to 750 gr. of sodium bicarbonate powder. The device is used in hemodialysis units to which can be installed in both directions achieving the same result. |
