<p>The present invention relates to a method for processing an audio signal represented, in the frequency domain, by a number N of samples previously decompressed and stored in a memory area in a given order, the said method including a first phase for calculating a number N of samples representing the said signal in the time domain from the samples representing this signal in the frequency domain, a second phase which involves mixing the calculated temporal samples and is intended for fixing the number of broadcasting channels for the processed signal, and a third phase of correcting distortions liable to impair the processed signal. According to the invention, for each broadcasting channel, the same memory area is used during the first phase and the third phase, to perform the calculation and storage of the calculated temporal samples. <IMAGE></p> |
