The lock has a support (2) that is affixed to a wall or to the ground. A shackle (1) is provided and this is pivots inside the support about a pivot pin (3). A security assembly for the pivot pin is arranged at the top of the support. The pivot pin can be removed and has a handle that allows the lock to be opened by the user. A security pin immobilises the pivot pin inside the support. The lock folds flat against the wall or ground when it is not in use. It is connected to the wall or ground by bolts that are sealed into the surface of the wall or the ground.
