RESISTOR DEVICE FOR VOLTAGE LIMITATION BETWEEN THE CONTACTS OF THE PRESELECTOR OF STEPPING VOLTAGE REGULATOR

The resistor device is used in stepping voltage regulatorsfor under-load-adjusted transformers. It enables the assembly of asupporting cylinder to the lower shield of the selector and forsatisfactory cooling of resistors where labour and material costsare reduced. The resistor device contains an insulation cylinderhaving three supporting plates in the upper fastening end thelower shield of the selector, having one or more resistors perphase, electrically connected in a resistor unit, fixing bracketsand current collection terminals. The resitors are fitted to theexternal periphery of an isulation cylinder, the beginning of eachresistor unit is electrically connected to a supporting plate, andits end to a current collecting terminal.(11) 265
