The invention relates to a device for the microdissection and aspiration of cells. According to the invention, a glass capillary is positioned in a steel hollow needle. The glass capillary can be moved inside this steel hollow needle along its longitudinal axis. The glass capillaries and hollow needles are preferably positioned with a single micromanipulator. The invention makes cells substantially easier to obtain and reduces the time required to a few minutes. This makes it possible for clinical routine laboratories to use molecular diagnosis based on morphological preparations as well.
