<p>The current converter has an annular core, an inner conductor (10) and a sheet metal outer conductor (11, 12) acting as the metal encapsulation. The current converter is positioned between 2 concentric tubular pieces (15, 23), the outer of which is made of sheet metal with the same wall thickness as the remainder of the outer conductor, to which it is secured by welding. Pref. the inner tubular piece (23) has outwards bent lipped edges (24, 25) at its ends, fitting within inwards bent edges (17, 18) of the outer tubular piece (15), with seals (26, 27) inserted between them.</p> |
