<p>A grey-green soda-lime glass contains less than 0.4 wt.% FeO, has an excitation purity of more than 5% and exhibits, at 4 mm thickness and on illumination, a light transmission (TLA4) of greater than 30%, a selectivity (SE4) of greater than 1.55 and an UV transmission (TUV4) of less than 10%. Preferably, the glass contains one or more of Fe, Cr, Co, Se, Ce and V as colouring agents.</p> |
