The present invention relates to a shaped faecal management device. The faecal management device comprises a bag having an aperture, and an anatomically-shaped flange, which surrounds the aperture. The flange provides for adhesive attachment to the perianal area of the wearer. In particular, the bag comprises at least two distinct portions: a wearer facing portion and a garment facing portion wherein the wearer facing portion and the garment facing portion are secured at the periphery of the bag. The wearer facing portion has a surface area that is greater than that of the garment facing portion.
