The folding caravan comprises a parallelepiped bodywork (20) and a metal support and towing chassis (30). A coupling device enables the temporary fixing of the bodywork to the chassis. The coupling device comprises a first coupling system (60) located on the first side of the bodywork. And a second coupling system placed on the second side of the bodywork. The first coupling system has pivots enabling the bodywork to tip around an axis parallel to the first and second sides of the bodywork. A means of storage and support (40) fixed in a removable manner on the first side of the bodywork enables the bodywork to be held in its second position.
