<p>The invention concerns a device for precision grinding of the cutter blade tip of machines such as guillotine cutters, said blades (4) being vertically mounted on a support movable above a cutting plane (2). The invention is characterised in that the device consists of a precision grinding mechanism (5) arranged to be guided along said cutter blade (4), said precision grinding mechanism (5) comprising a frame (8) on which are mounted at least a straight bedplate (9) designed to be urged to press against said blade (4) back and at least a precision grinding member (9) designed to be urged at a tangent with said blade active part, at the tip thereof. The precision grinding mechanism is mounted on a compressible support (6) which, resting on the cutting plane (2), is capable of maintaining it constantly pressed against the blade (4) cutting edge.</p> |
