In the present invention, the structure, principle and framework of chaotic code-division multiple access ((CD)2MA) communication systems (100, 102) are presented. Unlike the existing CDMA systems, (CD)2MA systems (100, 102) use continuous pseudo-random time series (124) to spread the spectrum of the message signal and the spread signal is then directly sent through the channel to the receiver (102). In this sense, the carrier used in (CD)2MA is a continuous pseudo-random signal instead of a single tone as used in CDMA. In a (CD)2MA system (100, 102), every mobile station (100) has the same structure and parameters, only the initial conditions are assigned to different mobile stations (102). Instead of synchronizing two binary pseudo-random sequences as in CDMA systems, an impulsive control scheme is used to synchronize two chaotic systems (100, 102) in (CD)2MA.
|
