<p>This invention is an apparatus and method for simultaneously obtaining a sample of biological tissue or liquid, and measuring the electrical resistance in at least two different frequencies for the purpose of diagnosis of the condition of the tissue or liquid. The apparatus includes a main case tube (1), and a demountable handle (3) with an aspirating needle (8) located inside the tube (1). The distal end of needle (8) serves as an active electrode in contact with the tissue or liquid. Also, the apparatus includes a hook (7) which has a pointed end, is electrically conductive that is used for sampling biological tissue, and also as the passive electrode in contact with the biological tissue for the resistance measurements.</p> |
