A small recording device (10) that can be affixed easily to a telephone (40) and that uses a telecoil (52) or small microphone (36) to pick up the incoming audio signal from the telephone's handset. The audio signal is then recorded by an analog or digital recorder (50) and may be played back at will. The device is shaped so that it does not interfere with comfortable handling of the telephone handset while providing easily accessible and tactiley distinguishable keys for ease of operation. |
