FIELD: medical engineering; surgical instruments. SUBSTANCE: elevator has one rod and tie-rod coupled to middle part of rod. Tie-rod has thread coupled to needle, and rod is made in the form of at least three cylindrical links interconnected for turning through an acute angle in order to change form of rod from straights, when introducing the elevator into abdominal cavity through trochaic sleeve, to arc-shaped. Rod takes arc-shaped form due to gravity of front abdominal wall after installation. EFFECT: reduced traumaticity caused by interference. 3 cl, 5 dwgr
