FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making analysis of clinical manifestations and X-ray examination data, taking blood samples and dividing it into plasma and erythrocytes, measuring concentration of malonic dialdehyde (MDA) separately in plasma and erythrocytes, calculating MDA MDAp index as ratio of determined value of MDA concentration in plasma to the like value observed in healthy people. MDA MDAer is defined as ratio of measured MDA concentration in erythrocytes to averaged value of the index in healthy people. MDA MDAs is defined as sum of MDAMDAp and MDAMDAer. The values of MDAMDAs being equal to or greater than 1.85, aseptic femoral head necrosis is diagnosed. MDAMDAs being equal to or less than 1.84, coxarthrosis is diagnosed.
