FIELD: power engineering; gas lighters which are easy to use by adults and difficult to use by children. SUBSTANCE: gas lighter has vessel for gas of liquefied kerosene, valve fitted on this vessel for escape of gas, system for shutting-off gas flow and opening this flow provided with flint acting in combination with knurled wheel set in rotation by means of at least one holder located coaxially relative to knurled wheel. Peripheral surface of each holder which is in contact with User's finger is smooth. EFFECT: lighter is easy to use by adults and is difficulties to use by children. 4 cl, 2 dwga
