FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sealed container with liquid cooling agent which boiling temperature is below 0 C at atmospheric pressure, has valve, inlet and outlet tubes with distributing head. Profiled member of distributing head is made of open cellular foam plastic. Liquid cooling agent is distributed through valve when the latter is open. Distributing head including profiled member and secured to outlet end of outlet tube constitutes applicator. Skin is cooled by arranging the distributing head near its surface and delivering the liquid cooling agent through open cellular foam plastic.
