Liquefaction of natural gas using two stages and monophase refrigerant

Process for liquefying a fluid G formed at least in part of hydrocarbons, such as natural gas, with at least two refrigeration stages during which: in the first stage the fluid G and at least one mixture of refrigerants M2 are cooled to obtain at least one monophase mixture of condensed refrigerants. In the second stage the fluid from the first stage is cooled, vapourised and expanded to ensure the super- cooling of at least the fluid G and at least part of the mixture. At least part of the mixture M2 is vapourised during the two refrigeration stages.
