Protection device for rotating shafts

The protection device is intended for a rotating shaft (2) protruding from a housing (1). It incorporates a fixing sleeve (3) attached to the housing, and an end sleeve (4) which is arranged so that it is not driven by shaft rotation. It further incorporates a spacer (5) which prevents displacement of the end sleeve in the direction of the fixing sleeve. A protective hose is located between the fixing and end sleeves (3, 4) in such a way that it surrounds the shaft (2).
