Auxiliary air conditioning system for vehicle providing cold air independent of conventional system

The auxiliary air conditioning system, which is provided to produce cold air, independent from a customary vehicle air conditioning system, esp. a heavy goods vehicle, with a switched off engine. The customary air conditioning system in a closed circuit, essentially contains a compressor (1), a condenser (2) and an evaporator (3) also a water separating filter (4). An auxiliary evaporator (5) is interposed between the output of the condenser (2) and the output of the evaporator (3) of the customary air conditioning system. Two electrovalves (8) are connected with a control block (9), designed to give a controlled branching. The additional evaporator(3) during the periods in which the conventional air conditioning system is switched off, because the programmed temp. in the vehicle cabin is reached, the additional evaporator uses the power of the compressor (1).
