摘要	The apparatus for continuous casting of metal consists of a melt container (2) and a mould which moves together with the metal, and is made up of a casting wheel (3) and an endless casting loop (5). The cross section (12) of the casting is formed with forming elements (6, 7) which are mounted respectively on the casting wheel and the endless casting loop, and run against one another within the mould region (1). Continuous products with a cross section approximating their final cross section are produced by a joint action of forming elements mounted respectively on the casting wheel and the endless casting loop.
