The invention relates to a vacuum chamber comprising at least two vacuum areas, wherein substances, specially liquids, are transported in a targeted manner from one area to the other by creating an appropriate vacuum. Using filter supports or carrier supports, it is possible to automatically transport a liquid during a plasmid preparation through appropriate filter carrier. The vacuum chamber is charged by an automatic gripper robot and switched by a corresponding valve control device. By integrating the vacuum chamber with its gripper robot and drive mechanism into a pipette robot system, an automatic plasmid preparation, e.g. according to the Qiagen protocol, is possible. |
