The invention concerns a method for making a food product, such as pizza, the implementing device and the resulting product. The method consists in producing a continuous production line including: preparing a raw pizza pastry, extruding the prepared raw pizza pastry in the form of a continuous strip (9), filling with ingredients (17) said strip (9) as it moves forward; cooking said forward moving strip (9) in a tunnel oven (19); cutting up the strip (9) with filled bases (27); extruding at least one fine strip of prepared raw pizza pastry on the cooked bases (27), applied as a sheath on their top surface and at least partially on their bottom surface; calibrating by cutting out the filled bases (27); and cooking the forward moving fine sheathing pastry in a tunnel oven (35), before final packaging of the resulting food products.
