A procedure for operating intermediate circuit inverters wired in parallel for feeding an induction machine (5), especially for driving pumps and fans, uses the principle of field-oriented control. A first converter equipped with controlled valves that cannot be extinguished and a second one equipped with controlled valves that can be extinguished, are wired in parallel on the machine current side. The converter with the valves that can be extinguished is controlled so that from this, the reactive power for the induction machine and the commutation reactive power for the other converter less the reactive power of the commutating condensers is supplied. |
