<p>Devices for controlling the movement of yarn between a stationary yarn package (for example a spool) and a yarn-processing device having cyclic operation are known, which devices include a winding drum and yarn release means. In order to be able to feed a predetermined quantity of yarn to the yarn-processing device in more accurate and reliable manner, a device is proposed wherein the yarn release means include a first and a second annular element, which elements are movable relative to each other, and whereby the yarn moves between said annular elements.</p> |
