<p>Packaging machine (10) using a heat-shrinkable film, for a number of rolls (36) generally, by cylindrical wrapping and longitudinal welding of a band (14, 15) of said film round a series of rolls supported by a series of parallel mandrels (32) advancing by intermittent translation of a continuous chain (31), with a device for rotation of said mandrels during a double heat-shrinking process obtained by hot-air blowers (90, 95), the first heat-shrinking operation determining, when cylindrically wrapping the rolls, areas between one roll and another of a diameter only slightly greater than that of the holes through the rolls, the second heat-shrinking process being done practically simultaneously with cutting of the areas of wrapping between rolls, shrinking of the cut holes and closure of the wrapping (17) at the position of the hole on either side of the roll avoiding overlapping of edges and wrinkles.</p> |
