<p>An improved mounting bolt (38) for attaching brake actuators (20) to the frame of a vehicle includes a head having outermost portions (46) which contact the service chamber housing (22), and inner portions (50) which are spaced from the housing (22). The bolt (38) spreads the force from carrying the brake actuator over a greater area on the service chamber housing (22) away from the bolt hole.
