A passenger conveyor system whose installation space is reduced by reducing the height of the machinery chamber of a supporting frame and in which the shift of treads from the going-run side to the returning-run side and vice versa are smooth, comprising treads connected endlessly in a supporting frame installed from one floor to another floor and circulated through the going-run and returning-run sides with their top faces up.
