A process for incorporating amine oxide into laundry bars

Disclosed is a process for making a laundry detergent bar containing one or more amine oxide surfactants. The process comprises mixing an amine oxide component, an anionic surfactant, and an alkali salt, subsequently adding an acid precursor of an anionic surfactant, and forming the resulting composition into a bar. Further disclosed is a product made by the subject process.
