Heat transfer between a body and its surrounding fluidous environment is reduced by placing at least one baffle-insulator (12) adjacent said body (10), such that the baffle-insulator (12) which has a thermal conductivity of less than about 5 watts/meter/degrees K, disturbs, modifies and/or weakens fluidous environment flow about the body (10), reducing heat transfer between the body (10) and its environment. |
