FIELD: testing technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes creation of pressure difference between reservoir internal pressure and environmental pressure with use of source for delivery or suction of compressed medium. This source communicates with internal space of chamber which reservoir being checked is enclosed. Output signal of relative pressure pickup is stored for some definite time in storage unit, output signal of which is supplied to comparator as relative pressure value. Output signal of relative pressure pickup is supplied directly to other input of comparator. Analysis of comparator output signals makes it possible to judge about occurrence and amount of leakage.
