PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator to always perceive a preview image and a hard copy output at the same time. SOLUTION: A color separation measuring sensor 108 measures the color temperatures of a display device 107 and its peripheral light and adjusts the conversion table of a gamma correcting circuit so that they become equal to each other. Further, a color separation measured value monitor circuit 114 holds circumferential light measured values of the display device 107 by the color separation measuring sensor 108 in time series and compares them with the latest measured value to inform the operator of changes of preview environment. |
