PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for designation of transmission/reply of an electronic mail by which transmission processing in response to a transmission method desired by a sender is conducted with a simple operation. SOLUTION: In the case of transmitting an electronic mail, information to designate a desired reply method selected among a plurality of reply methods is written in a header part of the electronic mail, and the electronic mail to which the information to designate the reply method is written is transmitted. Upon the receipt of the transmitted electronic mail, which reply method is designated is discriminated among a plurality of reply methods based on the information about the reply method written in the header part, and the reply is processed by the reply method according to the information relating to the discriminated reply method. |
