PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a PDP(plasma display panel) which requires less electric power and shorter processing time in comparison with a conventional one when manufacturing, and which also has high brightness, less brightness deterioration and with superior reliability. SOLUTION: A dielectric layer which absorbs less bubbles and impurity gases is obtained, without going through a baking process by using a plasma thermal spraying method or a laser thermal spraying method by which that high purity powder containing no organic binder for dielectric is thermally fused by plasma torch or laser and is then made to collide with a glass base plate 310 at a high speed in order to make a dielectric layer.
