PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent low-temperature offset caused by the temperature fall of the surface of a heating roller immediately after starting rotation from a standby state in an image fixing device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the heating roller 11 having a heating source 12 inside and an endless belt 15 laid over plural rollers 13 and 14 and press-contacting with the roller 11; and the thickness (t) of the belt 15 consisting of a heat-resistant elastic member is set to 0.5 mm<=t<=2.0 mm, and entire peripheral length L to the diameterϕof the roller 11 is set to 0.5πϕ<=L<=1.5πϕ.
