<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time required for re-transmission and to keep real time performance of an image in an excellent way by outputting transmission data, an error check code and a transmission sequence number or the like to a communication network as transmission multiplexed data. SOLUTION: Transmission data selected by a switch 31 are given to a transmission data amount measurement means 33, where a transmission data quantity is measured and a packet size decision means 34 decides a packet size. A transmission sequence number counter 36 increments a transmission sequence number by one every time receiving a quantization index as transmission data selected by a size of a received packet and provides an output of the transmission sequence number. An error check code arithmetic section 35 calculates an error check code of transmission data selected by each packet size and provides an output of the result. A multiplexer means 37 multiplexes the selected transmission data, the transmission sequence number, the error check code and the sequence number on re-transmission request based on the packet size into a packet and provides an output of transmission multiplexed data.</p> |
