PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the problem that a reserved program cannot be viewed or the like by recognizing in advance the operation defect of an IC card other than the IC card in use. SOLUTION: The IC cards 40a, 40b and 40c are respectively mounted to three card slots 38a, 38b and 38c provided in an IC card connector 36 and a CPU 24 judges whether or not the IC card other than the IC card in use is normal at every constant interval of time based on intrinsic information such as the number of the card. When the IC card is abnormal, an alarm sentence is on-screen displayed by an MPEG decoder 20 and then, an LED 34 is lighted. The normality and abnormality of the IC card are stored in a RAM 28. |
