PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute comprehensive fault processing suitable for a multi-node system by utilizing diagnostic processors provided in respective nodes and an inter-node connection network and executing inner diagnostic control. SOLUTION: In this multi-node system connecting respective nodes 1 to 3 to the inter-node connection network 5, diagnostic processors 10, 20, 30, 50 are respectively provided with transmitting/receiving means 15, 25, 35, 55 and constituted so as to execute communication between the diagnostic processors through a diagnosis-only bus 6 different from an inter-node data transfer route. Even when a fault is generated in an inter-node communication processing part 14 and the node 1 has to be separated, a false fault is generated and detected by a port part 51 by executing communication through the bus 6 to eliminate the necessity of processing for informing of the fault generation, the separated node 1 is used as a single system. At the time of restoring the processing part 14 from the fault, fault processing such as the integration of the node 1 in the multi-node system again can easily be attained and resources can be effectively utilized. |
