<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and accurately control the running state of a magnetic tape. SOLUTION: The information is recorded/reproduced against the magnetic tape 10 by magnetic heads 42, 44 mounted on a rotary drum 40. The supply and take-up of the magnetic tape 10 to and from the rotary drum 40 are operated by a supply reel 20 and a take-up reel 50, which are driven by a supply reel motor 60 and a take-up reel motor 80. The tape tension is controlled to be constant by a tension control part 1000. By a T-reel speed control part 2100 of a speed control part 2000, the number of rotation of the take-up reel motor is controlled so that the tape speed obtained based on the information of the rotating period of the take-up reel becomes a prescribed target value. By a load torque detecting part 2200, a driving voltage of the T-reel motor 80 is detected, and the load torque is detected and added by an adding part 2300, then the signal negating the effect of the load torque is supplied to the take-up reel motor.</p> |
