A supple heating panel consists a layer of a textile material (2) made from graphite or carbon filaments with connectors (3) for a power supply, sandwiched between two layers of resin-coated fabric (1) which remain supple and electrically-insulating after polymerisation. The resin-coated fabric layers can be, for example, of polyamide, an aramid such as 'Kevlar' (RTM), or polyethylene, coated with PVC, silicone, polyethylene or polyamide, as appropriate.
