PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and reliable power supply in which the size can be reduced by decreasing the number of switching elements while reducing the loss thereof. SOLUTION: A first converter circuit 1 comprises a flyback converter where a switching element Q1 is connected with a power supply E through the primary winding of a transformer T1 , and a load Z is connected with the secondary winding of the transformer T1 through a rectifying element, i.e., a diode D10 . A second converter circuit 2 shares the switching element Q1 and comprises forward converter where a capacitor C1 is connected through the switching element Q1 with the primary winding of a transformer T2 having the secondary winding connected with the load Z through a rectifying element, i.e., a diode D12 . The capacitor C1 comprises an electrolytic capacitor connected with the secondary winding of the transformer T1 through the diodes D10 , D11 . |
