PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a failure as toner density is hard to come out by letting toner of one color first transferred on a transfer drum allowed to pass through the nip range between a photoreceptor for several times until being laid over the toner of four colors, by a constitution arranging the respective photoreceptor two color developing device in providing two of photoreceptors on a periphery of the transfer drum. SOLUTION: This constitution is for the color image forming method performing the color overlapping of four colors on the transfer drum 1 by letting developing device 4 to perform the work of transferring the color developed on the photoreceptor by one color for repeating four times. The transfer is successively started from the photoreceptor 2 arranged on the upstream side in the rotary direction of the transfer drum, the development is made so as to successively begin from the developing device 4 arranged on the downstream side in the rotary direction on the photoreceptor 2. |
