PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the prevention of paper staining caused by forgetting to change over a paper ream weight setting switch and appropriate control in each driver by setting paper information by a host device. SOLUTION: A selection mark detecting sensor 7 reads the paper information set by the host device, which is expressed by an identification mark. Since the ream weight of the paper 1 is discriminated according to the paper information, fixing oil is supplied by a necessary amount from an oil pump 5 to a Teflon (R) felt 4, and applied on a heat roll 3. The felt 4 is driven by a felt motor 6 to be taken up by a take-up roller 9 from a felt supply roller 8. The motor 6 drives the felt 4 according to the paper information obtained from the sensor 7, so that the felt 4 is taken up by a necessary amount by the roller 9. Since the paper information is set by the host device, an operator need not change over the paper ream weight setting switch. |
