PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image in accordance with developer, and also, to appropriately control toner concentration even in the case the control voltage value is fixed, by controlling the toner concentration without changing the control voltage of a toner concentration detecting means in accordance with a value outputted by the toner concentration detecting means in the initial state of the developer. SOLUTION: An initialization process is started. The output value(VSTART) of a T sensor is detected (S1), the detected VSTART value is compared with the values of patterns 1 to 6 which are previously stored in the control means. For example, in the case of judging that the VSTART value is not <1.0 (S2), but <1.8 (S7), the VSTART value of the developer is applicable to the pattern 5, then, a control level 4 is selected (S8). When the control level is decided at either of steps S10, S12 and S14, thereafter the image is formed in accordance with the decided control level (S16). |
