摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the system to establish mobile communication over a wide range efficiently in a short time by allowing the system to have road-vehicle communication and inter-vehicle communication to realize automatic drive and vehicle-group drive. SOLUTION: In this system, a continuous radio communication link (road-vehicle communication) 4 (4a-4c) is realized between vehicle mobile stations 10 (10a-10c) driving on an automobile road such s a highway and base stations 12 (12a-12c) installed on the highway and direct radio communication links (inter-vehicle communication) 2 (2a, 2b) are realized between the mobile stations. The mobile station 10 is provided with an upper transmitter-receiver 13 to set the radio communication link 4 between the base stations 12, a front transmitter-receiver 14 (14a-14c) that sets the radio communication link 2 between itself and the mobile station of other vehicle driving in front of itself, and a rear transmitter-receiver 16 (16a-16c) that sets the radio communication link 2 between itself and the mobile station of other vehicle driving at the back of itself. Plural base stations 12 for radio communication with the mobile station 10 are placed on a road almost at a prescribed interval in a direction of lanes and the base station 12 is provided with a transmitter-receiver 18 to set a radio communication link with each mobile station 10.
