PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and reliable power supply in which the size can be reduced by decreasing the number of switching elements while reducing the loss thereof. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises a DC power supply E connected with a series circuit of an inductance element L1 , a rectifying element D1 and an electrolytic capacitor C1 , and a switching element Q1 connected in parallel with the series circuit of the DC power supply E and the inductance element L1 , wherein a load Z is connected with the diode D1 through an inductance element L2 . The inductance element L1 , the rectifying element D1 and the switching element Q1 constitute a converter circuit 1 comprising a step-up chopper whereas the switching element Q1 , the rectifying element D1 and the inductance element L2 constitute a converter circuit 2 comprising a step-dawn chopper. |
