PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipolar connector which is equipped with a plurality of outer circumferential contacts in addition to an inner circumferential contact and which minimizes its housing. SOLUTION: In a housing 10, both a point protruding part 11 which has a relatively small outer diameter at a leading edge side of the housing 10, and an outer-overhang part 12 which has a relatively large breadth at a base side of the housing 10 are formed as one body. In the outer-overhang part 12, arranged are outer circumferential contact fixing parts 14A, 14B, and 14C each of which makes up a grooved structure almost parallel to an axial direction of a through hole 19 and is arranged at an outer circumferential side of the point protruding part 11, wherein the outer circumferential contact fixing parts 14A, 14B, and 14C make an opening to the outside mating member. The outer circumferential contacts 40A, 40B, and 40C are fixed in such a manner that plate-shaped to-be-fixed parts 43A, 43B, and 43C are fitted with the outer circumferential contact fixing parts 14A, 14B, and 14C and plate-spring like contacting parts 45A, 45B, and 45C are fixed in a form protruding toward the outside mating member from the out-overhang part 12. The contacting parts 45A, 45B and 45C are arranged on the circumferential surface of the point protruding part 11, each of the contacting parts is arranged parallel to one another along the circumferential direction.
